"Annie Up" is indeed a regional variation of Ante Up.... In Appalacia.

If I were at a poker table and someone without a hint of irony asked me to "Annie Up," I'd leave ....

Regardless, I got Rich Harden for Greg Maddux. To date that has been a good deal. It looked even better last night.

Secondly, as far as regional jargon goes, do you say ain't instead of isn't? That makes you sound like a fool to anyone outside of the deep south. "Annie up" is even more foolish. It's ante!
