I don't know that he's going to get 1B eligibility this year. There are no more road games against the NL scheduled for Cleveland. So it may be DH from here on out. 1 game shy...kinda sucks.

maybe he can pitch hit and remain in the game at 1st base since it is still a close game..

Won't even matter. eligbility is 5 starts or 10 games played at a certain position.

i believe that a couple of weeks ago i had berkman move to the outfield during a game and get credit as an OF.....but he did not start in the outfielder.
