Or near it.. I say 185+, right now he has 80 and counting, we still have a couple weeks left until the AS break and he is on pace to reach 100 by then. Can count on between 1-3 K's every night..

I doubt it. He's only on pace for 168.

What is the record for K's by a batter in a season? I think Howard is the leader in MLB in KO's. Right up there with Sexson, Dunn & Abreu

Dunn holds the record.

I doubt it, he has 0 IP.
In all seriousness I think it's possible. He is on pace for around 170 and he, like all other players, will wear down toward year's end. Psychology might play a role as well considering when a team is not doing well and is about to miss the playoffs players tend to overswing because they feel they need to swing for the fences everyday. Being a young player I think this will also get the best of Howard.
That being said, with those types of stats I wouldn't mind him on my team even if he did "achieve" that.
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Just wait until he gets a little older and improves his plate discipline (28 walks to 78 k's). He's going to put up some monster numbers.
