If it makes you feel any better, I'm going to start Ramon Ortiz against DET. And Ortiz has gotten pounded in his last two starts. The way I see it, if you aren't going to play a guy against DET, why even have them on your team? Even if you get burned, it's always a risk worth taking against the Tigers.
I needed a win so I picked him up. I am so far behind in whip and era this week because of Percival and willis I cant do anything about that so hopefully I can at least get a win from Lackey.
Lackey is too streaky. Sad as it is, I wouldn't even start him against Det.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Madison, what about Ramon? Would you start that dude against Detroit? While Ramon has been streaky himself, he does seem to get wins for some strange reason.

I'd much rather start Ramon Ortiz against Detroit instead of Lackey.

If you're not going to start John Lackey against Detriot....
WHY IS HE ON YOUR ROSTER?
Seriously. Are you waiting for him to pull a few solid months together before putting him out there? Sure, he's done bad. But if he's on your roster, you must have him there for a reason. And if starting against Detriot isn't the reason, you have to sit down and think what that reason is.
I picked up Lackey two days ago for just this start. I began second guessing myself when I saw his recent stats. Anyway, I started him and was happy with what I got.
