I saw it last night and it was pretty good. I was not a fan of Spacey as Lex Luthor, but besides that I enjoyed myself. I wouldn't put it up there with, say Spiderman 2 or Batman Begins (two superhero movies I reallllly liked), but I would put it slightly behind them and ahead of the X-men trilogy.
And they showed a Spiderman 3 preview, and holy balls, it looks incredible!

Plus, how can anyone like Superman? I mean... bullets bounce off the guy's eye. He's a garbage superhero.

It was a pretty decent movie. Nowhere near as good as Batman Begins, but Batman is a better hero (notice I didn't say super, as Batman has no real powers besides money) anyways. Spacey was funny as Luthor, mostly due to the "WRONG" part that has been circulating throughout the internet.

The bank robbery with the Gatling gun made no sense. They just happened to rob a bank with a gatling gun attached to the roof, or did they bring it with them, screw it up there, and then rob the bank?
hmm. before reading people's opinions i was undecided whether to watch it or not, and now ... still undecided.
is it a good movie to bring a girlfriend to? maybe that'll be the tiebreaker for me between a rental and going to watch it.
batman begins was finally batman done right. i hate joel shumauker or whatever his name is spelled. i hope he never desecrates any other people's ideas ever again.
spiderman movies are quite good for super hero movies i think. when i first read that venom was going to be in it, . but topher grace? . but i guess with the way sam raimi's been spot on about almost everything in the previous 2 spiderman movies, i should give him the benefit of the doubt.
x-men 1 was ok. 2 was good. 3 sucked. clunky, awkward, ridiculous.
