I think something just happened to Teixiera. I was tracking the game on Stattracker and they replaced him after one strike.

With the bases loaded and 2 out in the top of the 9th, Teixeira hit a line drive on the right field line that he thought landed fair but that 1st-base ref Tim Hallion called foul. Tex was furious, he ran towards the referee, argued and was ejected. Mark DeRosa, who was no longer in the game, was also ejected.

Those of us Tex owners will remember that a few days ago, he was also deprived of a walk-off 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th against San Diego by a controversial call.
