You are weak at Second base, Brian Roberts isn't bad neither is lopez but both are not that special, Your team looks good but in my league you would be lucky if you got in the playoffs, take a look at this link, you will know why, and I dont mean to be conceited or cocky, if you claim you have the best assembled team you will get sized up, so take a look at my team and get back at me, no hard feelings guy, you did do a good job though

Thanks for the responses thus far.......

A's....where's your team? I'd like to check it out....leave a link.

re: V-Mart and Garciaparra........

I recently traded them plus Kevin Mench (garbage) and Jose Valverde (garbage) for Andruw Jones, Brian Fuentes, Mark Prior, and Javy Lopez. My reasoning is that Garciaparra would have been on my bench anyway with D-Lee coming back, so I didn't really care what I had to give up to get a good closer (k/9 also count in this league) and a stud OF with power.

My other trades have been:

Grady Sizemore/Chris Ray for Carl Crawford
Richie Sexson/Jay Gibbons for Todd Helton/Jeremy Hermida
Carlos Zambrano/Javy Lopez for Carlos Delgado

In most cases, I have had a glut of one position (by design....example is Chris Ray) and a lot of the trades have included players off of the waiver wire (ex. Mench, Ray, Lopez). So, I am pretty happy with all the trades I have made...I am just upset that I have hit the max in trades (5) and I can't move Helton (currently on my bench) + LoDuca for a stud catcher. Oh well. I'll still go home at the end of the year with the $$!
