Jose Reyes hurt

Reyes left Tuesday's game after a collison at home plate with Jason Varitek. His left arm got caught in between his body and Varitek's. He was in a lot of pain initially and we will keep you posted should further news develop.

No, thats the problem - he didnt try to run Varitek over who was a sitting duck. He could have and Keith Hernandez and Darling calling the game mentioned this would have been the proper and safer play for Reyes. Who knows, Varitek probably would have leveled him anyway. Reyes went in and changed his mind at the last second, gave like a half slide/half charge to Varitek and got caught in an awkward position. Looked like he was in alot of pain and then returned. He is fine

He's fine. Yes, that throw by Manny was just amazing. Reyes didn't have a good enough lead from 2nd base and that's why he was out. He played at SS in the bottom half of the inning anyways.
