Just broke the news on channel 5 in Boston, he's undergoing surgery right now and is expected to be in intensive care for the next 10-12 days

Not good... in the brain? assuming it's not an aortic aneurism, those are instant killers.

The fact that he didn't die instantly is a good sign. Though if it's the brain, it could mean a stroke.

You can't tell if he had emergency surgery, or if it was planned... makes a huge difference (if it was planned, they knew about it and were prepared, if it was emergency, who knows how long he was bleeding before actually having the surgery?).

:(

Get well soon.
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!
