Politte removed as closer!

Cliff Politte has been officially removed as Toronto's closer.
''Cliff's role will be anywhere from the sixth inning to the eighth,'' manager Carlos Tosca said yesterday, adding a terse ''No'' when asked if Polittle would see any action in the ninth. Tosca did not name a new closer, though Alquilino Lopez is the only real choice.

I grabbed Lopez like that! Whew...

yeeeeeeeah buddies, i grabbed lopez immediately after seeing him lock up back-to-back save opps....he is certainly a safer choice as a RP to acquire since he can actually help (or at least, not annihilate) your ERA and WHIP
