Capuano hurt?

Postby TicallionStallion » Tue Jun 27, 2006 3:09 pm

Didn't see any other post regarding his injury. He got hit on the right hand on a line drive in the ninth inning and left the game. They said it was a bruise, but that he would be evaluated today. It's his right hand, so I'm hoping he doesn't miss a start.

But knowing my luck...

From Cappy's mouth:

""It was a flush hit, but it was just a bruise. It could have been a lot worse."

and

"I don't see it being a problem right now, I have all of the strength in my hand and my arm. It just feels like a bad bruise."

Jun 27 The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports Milwaukee Brewers SP Chris Capuano (forearm) reported no swelling of note and said he would be able to make his next start as scheduled Saturday, July 1, in Minnesota against the Twins.

;-D ;-D

I was watching the game and it didn't look that serious and the good news is it hit him on his not throwing arm. This guy is a stud pitcher. ;-D
