He's been playing every day and he's better than Toby Hall. He will play a few days less, but that's just because he was playing almost every day and what catcher does that.

Hendrickson worth anything in an NL-only?

I thought Hendrickson was pretty decent. That being said, not sure why TB got rid of him, don't they need pitching? Is Seo any better then Hendrickson?

Hendrickson wouldn't of been around that long, I believe it was his last contract year. Seo can basically be the same type of pitcher and he is a bit younger by 3/4 years. Also another reason is it's pretty obvious they didn't plan on keeping Hall around and wanted a young catcher for their future.

I think Hendrickson will benefit from the switch of leagues, as he had been in the AL East for a long time. He should have a successful month or two before he gets figured out, the same goes for Seo to a lesser extent, just because he will be facing better offenses. As for Navarro, I would keep an eye on him in deep leagues, because it is rare to find a starting catcher worth having on the WW, and if he keeps hitting like he did before he got hurt he might be worth it.

He is definitely not great, but I was at least hoping for a future arm in return, but maybe the PTBNL will be somebody worth it. I wonder if this sets up Jackson with a spot in the rotation or if Stokes will get the rotation spot.

Why not Seo?

True, I guess Seo is a possibility for the rotation spot as well, but I prefer that the Drays go to Durham and bring Stokes or Hammel up for the spot and let them learn in Tampa.

I thought D. Navarro was a guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I like this trade for my adopted hometown team. Navarro's giving them a catcher of the future and Seo has more upside than Hendrickson in the long run. I'm tagging Navarro and Hendrickson on my watch list. Hendrickson could well be next in the line of pitchers who are a lot more successful in the NL than the AL. And if Navarro keeps up his hitting, the entire D-Rays lineup will be that much better. I am sad to see Hall go. He was one of the guys on the Rays I really liked as a tough and underappreciated player.

Hall is a career .252 hitter against the Sox with an OPS under .700. :-?
