everyone's saying sword because it's lighter, but why does that matter when I could just throw a chainsaw tomahawk style at your face?

I'm guessing you have never used a chainsaw before.

Also, who's to say you can't just throw the sword down-field like a javelin.

Sword by far, Chainsaw has too many things that could go wrong, chain break, runs out of oil, runs out of gas, stall's. ect.

all depends how heavy the chainsaw is really. but i think ill take the sword.

Biggest problem I have with throwing either a chainsaw or a sword is that, if you miss, you're left with nothing at all to defend yourself with. And, trust me, you'd miss with a chainsaw.

You'd have to have an awful lot of practice and some mighty big forearms to be able to be even remotely accurate with a chainsaw. It's not just because of the weight, but it's just awkward. All the weight's on the handle. Plus, you either have a gas powered engine or a cord.
