The metro's part are apparently super cheap and you can get one for like 800 bucks.
My journey begins!
Help me find a 1994 Geo Metro!!!
If you value your life more than difference in price, I would stay away from Metros. They did okay on the front impact ratings, but I've been involved in a T-bone with one of those, and the other driver was seriously lucky to not have been seriously injured. The door folded like a cheap suit, and I was going 30 MPH, then had about 30 feet of braking distance, so I probably only hit at 15 MPH.
Just another factor you should seriously consider.
