Although I genuinely hate the whole Red Sox-Yankees thing (mostly because it was overly-hyped by the national media), I respect Red Sox fans, and I'm sure they'll give Pedro his due.

I completely understand why the Sox fans booed Damon. TB summed it up pretty well earlier. Speaking from a Cubs fan perspective, if Prior or Aramis signed with the Cards (I'd say D-Lee, but turns out St. Louis has a pretty decent 1B), I'd boo them for sure.

FWIW Pedro got a HUGE ovation today from the fans. He even got out of the dugout and waved as everyone in the stadium applauded on their feet.

There's no doubt it's all love there.
