August 13, 2003 PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Phillies sent struggling right-hander Brandon Duckworth to Triple-A Scranton Wilkes-Barre after Philadelphia's 11-4 victory over Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
Amaury Telemaco will take Duckworth's spot in the rotation and will face St. Louis on Sunday night. He won't be officially activated until Sunday.
Second baseman Chase Utley was recalled to take Duckworth's roster spot. He'll start Thursday night, moving Placido Polanco to third base. Third baseman David Bell has been on the disabled list since July 11 with a back and hip injury, and his return is uncertain.

Utley hit .323 with 26 doubles, 18 homers and 77 RBIs in 113 games at Scranton.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Do you guys think Utley will hit the ground running and blast a few in the final weeks? I was going to take a chance on him b/c it sounds like he was having a good time down in triple A.
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
No problem guys. I'll 'bump' this to make sure that deep league owners are aware of the situation.
