Not official yet, but looks like the DRays are definitely going to ship him out somewhere. I hope this doesn't start another slump for him.

Recommendation: The Rays likely would try to pry a pitching prospect or two away from the Tigers, and would be looking for position players from the Angels (perhaps including local product Casey Kotchman). Huff went 0-for-4 Sunday to snap his hitting streak at nine games, but he's still been hot of late, hitting .388 (19-for-49) with 10 RBI and a 1.036 OPS in his last 13 games.

i'd guess it'd be equal, possibly even have him spell Inge at 3rd. i could really see them playing him 4-5 days a week to spell all 3 of those guys...at least that's what i'd do with him
FWIW, i posted a few weeks ago in the Tigers thread that they should go after him.
The Tigers will more than likely have to ship one of those guys to Tampa for Huff, in which case he'd take over at that position. I could see them moving Inge & a prospect for Huff.

I would think TB would be more interested in pitching but you never know.
i think it's possible that when the Tigers make a trade for a bat that it could cut into Thames playing time, but i think it's more likely to cut into Monroe or Sheltons.

The Tigers love Inge -- despite his horrid average, he's on pace 90 Runs, 33 HRs and 94 RBIs and he is versatile. His defense has been top-notch. He is also a solid candidate for a mid-career return to catching when Pudge moves on. As a DET fan, I'd be a little surprised and disappointed if they move him.
Well this makes things interesting for me...I was thinking of dropping Kemp or Thames (although heavily leaning towards Kemp) for Huff. How do people think the change of venue will affect him? Huff has always been a slow starter, will changing teams be like starting again for him (inducing a slump)?
