Just a FYI that the Dodgers have moved Kevin Brown's start up to tomorrow against the Marlins on three days rest. Unfortunately, he has to face the Marlins and not the pathetic Cubs offense, but at least he isn't opposed by Prior.

I'm surprised -- Brown on three days? A bold and somewhat frightening move.
On one hand that scares me given his fragility -- on the other hand I figure the Dodgers have a hell of a lot to lose if he buckles and must have 100% faith in his fitness. That's a good sign.

Well, their hand was at least somewhat forced, because Ashby had to be scratched from his start tonight because of the flu, forcing Alvarez who was supposed to pitch tomorrow to pitch on 3 days rest today. They had to either call up a minor leaguer to start a critical wild card game with the Marlins or risk pushing up Brown.
