You guys are iddddiooots. Reyes is legit, who, BY THE WAY, is playing for a World Series Team!?! He will win 10 second half, and post very good numbers.

Next year, he is drafted in the 12th round

Through 4 innings, he had a good line: 4 inn, 2 h, 1 er, 2 bb, 3 k, while throwing ~66 pitches.

The 5th was not good, as it went:
2B
P-4 (out 1)
BB
SAC (out 2)
3-run HR (on a 3-2 count to Biggio)
2B
K (out 3)

His final line was bad. Still, he was one strike away from getting through 5 solid innings and Minute Maid Park is a right-handed-hitter's HR heaven, with the short porch in left.

Obviously, if you have a better option, dump him. I'm going to hang onto him for a little while longer, though.

You can say that about most any SP bad outting. He was one pitch away and then got shelled. So what? Fact is, he gave up the runs and they all count. Every rookie I touch turns to garbage. It is like clockwork. The rare ones that are good like Liriano I get beaten to.

Thanks for that levelheaded analysis. I needed it after furiously clicking through my SP free agent list looking for a replacement for Reyes :-)

There really isn't that much out there in the FA that had the ability to 1-hit the ChiSox, so maybe I should stick with this guy for one more start.

well whether you drop him or not, its safe to say that reyes shouldnt be relied on to help your fantasy team until he shows that game against whitesox wasnt a fluke.
