It would seem that someone with "Stupidity is also a gift of God, but one musn't misuse it" in their sig would be up for protecting inexperienced managers from making bad deals. And It’s spelled mustn’t

Don't put a hit out on me but, if I want a grammar lesson, I'll ask for it.

I quickly noticed this place values proper grammar and spelling. You seem to have been here a while and been active, thought you should know. If it's something you did on purpose and/or if you have an unorthodox belief on the meaning/spelling I'd like to hear about it.

I'm not too worried about what most of the people do here, within reason. I beat to my own drummer. I was mainly making a joke about a "hit" based on your name here. As for the spelling, I copied it from a site the day that the Pope died so it has been some time.

I think that a commish should let most anything go through. That's what the commish of my current league has done, and it's worked out great. I traded Tex for Miggy preseason in a keeper league, which may have gotten vetoed in some leagues, but I needed a 3B, and who's laughing now.

I remember several years ago when Jeter had that awful slump. I was trying to acquire him, and Nathan for Jeter kept getting vetoed, and Nathan was an unproven closer. I'm sure that some of you remember, Jeter pulled out of the slump and went on a tear. Fortunately, I did manage to acquire him for a bottom-tier closer before he pulled out of his slump. It's just stupid, because I had actually worked out a fair trade, but because Nathan was hot and Jeter was not, it kept getting vetoed.

Moral of the story, owners should be free to trade, and the commish should only veto for cheating and asinine trades. (And asinine is a high bar, especially in keeper leagues.) You did nothing wrong.
