I'm in an 8x6 11 team mixed league. Standard 5x5 along with doubles, triples, OPS for hitting and Losses for pitching. I'm in second place, but only because my hitting has been dominant. I am in first or second in every offensive category except doubles. I am in dead last in wins and right in the middle for strikeouts and losses. If I traded all of my starting pitchers I would probably rise to the top in losses and fall to the bottom in strikeouts. Since I'm already in last in wins, I can't lose any points there. Losing the starting pitchers should be a complete wash and I could use them to build an offensive powerhouse. My starting pitchers are Harden, Smoltz, Penny, Lackey, Escobar, Lowe, and Patterson.
I know this would be similar to the LIMA plan, but I don't know if anyone has ever tried anything like this half way through the season. For me, this would be a somewhat radical strategy, but it seems like on paper it should work. Should I deal them all or hope that I can start getting some wins out of these guys? Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated.
