I've got an Xbox. Not a lot of time for it during the baseball season though.

The last video games I really sat down and played were Metal Gear Solid 2 and Grand Theft Auto 3.

I'm thinking about picking up the new Madden...Unless I can find something better to throw $50 at. :-?

I've considered getting xbox live after the season ends. Seems to be worth it from everything I've read. I'm leaning toward getting it. ;-)

I hadn't heard about a price drop yet. That would make it even better, but $49.95 is actually a very reasonable price for a year of service, the headset, and demo disks.

I've also got xbox, but no xbox live. If you want a baseball game, I'd recommend World Series Baseball 2k3; I haven't played any other baseball games, so I can't compare it to anything, but I really enjoy the game. IMO the best part is the franchise mode. In addition to the normal trades, and rookie drafts, you sign coaches to improve your players- Manager, Batting Coach, Pitching Coach, Scout. The Scout has been very important, b/c the better the Scout, the better predictions he'll have for young talents and even veterans. Players also have a new thing called loyalty- the better you treat them- high enough salaries, time off, the team's performance, leads to them being more likely to resign with you. If you have any other questions about the game, PM me

the best games are always madden, NBA live, and high heat for their respective sports.

a tip: DO NOT get MVP baseball 2003. i have it for PC. it's very repetetive, errors are extraordinarily rare, there is NO minor league system (40-man roster only) and you can pull off trades you shouldn't be able to. (2 examples: Leiter for Mulder and Glavine for Oswalt.) you can also create "perfect" players, hence 99 in everything. although they cost a lot, it's still annoying.

get HH 2004. great game.
