Hey can anybody shed some light on the Gobble save today? Has he taken the place of Burgos, or does Burgos simply need a day off? Thanks!

KC scored three runs in the bottom of the 8th and Gobble got the last out in the top of the 8th when KC lead by three so he was left in to pitch the 9th and accordingly got the save when he completed the game.

Burgos is still the closer and would have been used if KC hadn't scored in the 8th.

and i knew there were going to be managers asking if gobble was the new closer while i was watching the end of that game.. just because he picks up a save people assume hes the new closer.
