Nah, I wouldn't worry. Hughes got touched up his first couple times at AA as well. Its just a new team, new league, excitement and nerves. Give him at least a half dozen starts before you make up your mind on if you should worry or not.

Those weren't his 1st 2 starts. He had about 4 or 5 in AA, prior to that where he dominated.

I don't know about the either of the last 2 games, but I do know that the last one was delayed over an hour by rain.

So there is a possibility there were mound issues with dirt sticking in the cleates, etc.

Yeah, this is right. Its Slowey and Gallardo who were just recently called up to AA. Garza has been fine in AA!

what's somewhat encouraging is his control...no walks and K'd 5 in 2 innings.
