Worst to 4th ... can I go all the way to 1st?

Yahoo Public Rotisserie League in their normal format. I was dead last through April, now I'm all the way up to somewhere between 3rd and 5th, depending on the day. Now I need to know what to do for the stretch run. Here's the roster:

C J. Estrada
1B C. Delgado
2B B. Phillips
3B P. Feliz
SS J. Lugo
OF C. Crawford
OF K. Mench
OF Ca. Lee
Util P. Burrell
BN B. Wilkerson
BN E. Byrnes
DL C. Blake

SP Jo. Santana
SP K. Rogers
RP M. Rivera
RP J. Julio
P B. Arroyo
P N. Robertson
P D. Bush
BN A. Pettitte
BN A. Cook
BN J. Jennings

Top 10 available hitters:
B. Giles
Lui. González
C. Granderson
T. Iguchi
Ja. López
J. Crede
R. Canó
R. Baldelli
A. Béltre
B. Clark

Top 10 available SP's:
B. Tomko
L. Hernández
B. Radke
Jef. Weaver
P. Byrd
E. Loaiza
K. Benson
J. Moyer
G. Meche
E. Bedard

Borowski is the only closer available.

Post your thread if you want me to respond ... thanks for the help

I would drop Feliz and grab Beltre while you still can. I would also try to find a way to get Granderson on your team even if it meant dropping Byrnes. I would also rather have Baldelli starting than Kevin Mench so those would be 3 moves I would make right off the bat.

I would prefer Hernandez over Cook too. Hernandez always seems to get better as the year goes on. The other "top" pitchers available dont really have any appeal especially considering your pitching.

I'd probably drop your worst hitter to pick up Borowski. Maybe I'm just optimistic about him since I have him too but he had another good night tonight in the 9th... hopefully he'll become Florida's only closer soon. Giles hasn't made too much of an impact yet and I dropped him early on but I do expect he should make some noise in the second half of the season so you might want to flag him at least for your watch list.

1) GET BELTRE!

2) Drop Byrnes and pick up Granderson - lots of SBs and a good avg. you would pick up. Plus he leads off for the best team in baseball - never a bad thing.

3) You might look in to picking up Iguchi at 2B. He is very, very solid.
