A friend of mine in the Cincy area has offered Reitsma, saying he is being dubbed the closer. Am I behind in the news or is this a new bit of information? I figure Reitsma may be good on my bench.

Last I hear it was still "by committe" but I think Reitsma will get the majority of the save ops.

Yeah, I've heard he's the favored closer, but man, the Reds have to actually win a few games for him to close. I don't think there's been many, if any, saves since Williamson left.

As for the Reds actually winning. Now that Kearns is out for the year and Boone/Guillen are gone, that team is more desolate than the Tigers.

I'm really not sure they'll be winning too many games here on out.

It is still a committee for now. Reitsma is the leading candidate for the job, but I wouldn't jump the gun just yet.
