From what I've heard, he sounds like a Maddux type pitcher. Not much speed but locates the ball great and changes speeds well.
The last guy I remember that they said that about was Zack Grienke and the verdict is still out on him.
Well, for one, Sowers doesn't play for the horrible Royals. He plays for the Indians which means he'll get his share of run support. And Zack Grienke got forced into a horrible situation...at least I think so. They may have ruined that kid.
Well obviously the situation is different because they play for two totally different teams. I made that statement comparing the pitchers, not the teams that they play for.
