Loretta to sit Sunday

According to the Boston Globe

Red Sox manager Terry Francona said that Mark Loretta hurt his neck diving out of the way of a pitch. Francona said he would probably sit Loretta tomorrow, which coupled with the off day on Monday would give him two days off. "Hopefully, that will take care of it," said Francona

Well this makes the choice between starting him or Granderson much easier.

Thanks for the update. I guess if you hae one of your players injured, it's nice to see him go 3/3 before he goes down.

Nobody seems to like this guy a lot, but after that slow start in April, he just keeps getting hits. Now 7th in MLB in hits. Hitting .400 his last 10 games. .329 for the month.

He came into the game today and pinch hit for Cora.... and then went 2/3.

He looks like he is on another roll like he had in May.
