Will this guy continue to mature into a cy young caliber pitcher? Has a great K/BB ratio. The only progelm I see with him is his WHIP. He gives up too many hits.

i dont think he will be cy young material. he just isnt in the same class as guys like johan santana. he should be a solid starter for a number of years though.

That's my take also. He's the type of pitcher that will have a long and successful career but never be a world beater. He's well worth drafting every year, though.

You can't be too picky about a guy who can be an ace for most fantasy teams. He's become very reliable and you can just about start against anybody.

an ace for a team like kansas city... hes the 3rd best pitcher on his team..

hes a servicable pitcher, who should be a fantasy teams 3rd starter.. never going to be a cy young calibar pitcher though..

Yea this guy is legit. This certainly isn't a product of luck. In fact, he might get even better, his LOB% is 77%, league average is 70% and last year Haren's was 72%. His k/bb is 3.68 (fantastic) and his k/9 is 6.7. (solid)

Oh, and by the way, his whip is 1.14 so I don't know what you were talking about.

edit- that's why you don't post when you're overtired, obviously we should expect his era to go up a bit, since he is getting lucky with his LOB%, not down.
