Mulder vs. Red Sox. Anyone have any opinions? I'm not really concerned about ERA or WHIP, just the win.

Mulder is a start every time he gets the ball. I've never benched him for a start.

Mulder at home this year:

10-1, 1.83 ERA, 6 CGs

Should you start him? Ummm, yes.

Oh yeah, his one loss was a CG that he gave up 1 run on 3 hits to Anaheim. I believe I still got huge points out of that game because he struck out 9 and walked 0. In Oakland, he's as close to a lock as you can get.

Geez, you guys are making me feel silly for asking! I only asked because of how well the Red Sox are hitting. They're the best offensive team in baseball, doesn't that concern any of you?

That's like asking if you should start Cy Young in Colorado. With Mulder, you have to start him every time and just hope that he doesn't mess up 1 out of every 9-10 times. He is awesome and I am grateful that I have him to balance out my staff.
