Thanks for all the help.

There isn't too much pitching on my waiver wire, and my league charges $2 per pickup. I'm working on a deal that will land me Zambrano for Utley (it may involve other peripheral players, but these are the centerpieces).

I'll update my roster tomorrow.
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!

blanton will help you. he will have a good second half. Also when Harden comes back he will help you IF HE STAYS HEALTHY. Josh Johnson needs to be a SP.

I would do this offer up Chase Utley Doug Davis and Kenji Johjima for the following players: Johan Santana or someone like pedro, webb, or schilling and a mid level closer such as otsuka or chris ray in it if you can. If you need to spice up this trade throw in peralta with si. eckstein is a nice fill in he will get you walks, runs, and help your batting average. you have studs in pujols or utley. YOU BETTER KEEP PUJOLS NO MATTER WHAT UNLESS SOMEONE OFFERS U HAVE THEIR TEAM TO GET HIM LOL. Youky is a fine option at 3b i too have him and baldelli needs to be starting. see if you can package jason bay into that fold. you might can get a HUGE HUGE HUGE return on it. someone might bite down on his sell very high status. id hang onto baldelli and maggs they will give you power, rbis and average and some steals. Crisp is also good he will hit 10-15 hrs and steal you about 15-20 bases the second half I feel like he is due to show everyone what he can do. This might be a little inflated but he might turn into a 2nd half stud I HOPE HE DEOS I TOO HAVE HIM ON ONE OF MY TEAMS. YOU MAY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE THE PUNISHMENT THIS YEAR. BUT IF MONEY IS INVOLVED TRADE UTLEY, KEARNS and a couple pitchers though you don't have much and grab an ace an great RP (bj ryan and get an OF or SS with power.

Crapola. :(

well if your offense is based on 2 players, you're in bigger trouble then you think.

It's not based on two players, but those are probably the two best ones I've got!

Anyway, here's my updated roster:

C: Johjima
1B: Pujols
2B: Utley
3B: Youkilis
SS: Peralta
OF: Bay
OF: Baldelli
OF: Ordonez
UT: Crisp
B: Mora
B: Kearns
B: Phillips

SP: Zito
SP: Blanton
RP: Escobar
RP: Jo. Johnson
P: Reyes
P: Lester
P: Jennings
B: Myers
B: Jennings
DL: Harden

Thanks for the input everybody, and I think I'm close to getting Zambrano for Utley.

EDIT: Dropped Ross, added Lester.
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!

Just heard about Jered Weaver being recalled, so I ended up dropping Doug Davis for him.

The pitching doesn't look nearly as bad as it did a week ago, IMO.

I'm still trying to land Zambrano, but even if that falls through, I really want to get some closers. Punting that category isn't helping me out.

The only FA closer of any worth is Julio, and I don't really trust him to help me. Maybe I'll pick him up if I can land another closer in a trade.
Looking forward to back to back championships in 2011!
