It's truly sad, because he had such obvious talent and is having so much trouble overcoming it. He's made a lot of mistakes, and it seems to me more and more every day that we will talk about what "might have been" with Josh Hamilton.

True shame.

I cant believe he is only 24....seems like we have been talking about him for years.

He still has plenty of upside, why not take a chance...they already invested a couple million in him.

Hamilton will go down as one of the biggest wastes of talent in sports history. He was a absolutely dominating player physically, and possibly could have had a great, great career.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread just for the heck of it. ;D

Josh had a good night tonight -- 3 for 5, 1 bag and 2 ribbies to bring his total to 93 before the break... 93 O:-)

If someone would have told me before I drafted him in the 10th round this year that he'd hit .312, with 21 homers, 93 rbis, and 6 steals for the year, I'd be ok with that.

Unbelievable.

Wow, great find.

Glad to see Josh back in the game and arguably being playing like the MLB's best player right now... Sorry to say, but glad to say,

Time to eat some crow for a couple of you!

It kills me that I didn't draft this guy in any leagues. I liked him last year but for some reason I didn't target him this year. I guess I was thinking he might get hurt or something. Pretty amazing year so far no question. He's gonna help more than a few fantasy teams to championships this year.

Best bump ever.

Ill throw out that he stole his 6th base tonight (hasnt been caught), a nice chip in for a slugger.
edit: woops, already mentioned.

In any case, I do remember hearing the news that he had been reinstated and such back then. Great to see him making good. And on my favorite team ;-D
