1992 NLCS Still Makes Me Sick

Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS was the toughest loss I've ever witnessed in any sport, far worse than any Steeler playoff loss, including SB XXX. I came very close to smashing my TV. I don't even watch the highlights of that game on ESPN Classic. Are there games you've watched that have had that kind of effect on any of you?

I still remember my dad saying "They've gotta make it interesting" when Pendleton led off with the double. Gross.

Wrong sport but game 7 of the 1993 Stanley Cup semi-finals still stings as a Leafs fan. Gretzky puts a very obvious high-stick in Gilmour's face causing him to bleed. He doesn't get a penalty, the game goes into overtime and guess who scores? Gretzky when he should have been in the box!!

Would have been Toronto - Montreal in finals, too.

As a Jays fan though I have to say I don't have too much to complain about. Maybe the 1987 meltdown but back-to-back World Series Championships more than made up for that.

'03 ALCS. Boone hit the pitch and I shut off the TV as soon as he hit it. I'm not sure what happened. I'm pretty sure it went foul and the Sox won the WS over the Marlins.

No but really, after I shut off the TV I just put my head down on my pillow and started crying. It was more of a heartbreaking moment then an invigorating moment.

Lucky for me, I didn't experience the '86 moment. Don't want to think about what I would have done.
