According to Yahoo...if a person is picked up off waivers and dropped the same day does he go back on waivers or as a free agent when dropped? I know when a person is dropped and picked up the same day regularly that he goes straight back being a FA. But does is this the same when they are acquired through waivers? Thanks ;-D

If a player is picked up and dropped on the same day, he becomes a FA for immediate pick up. He does not go on waivers.

Hmm. I thought it was a pretty good question. You guys seem pretty certain; have you actually seen this happen? I haven't seen anybody foolish enough to burn a waiver position and then immediately drop the guy, so...
