Yup. I mean if it were something like Nick Johnson out with a hang nail or Griffey to miss rest of season with paper cut it would be sort of funny. But not in this case.

Why? What's the difference? Because it's a more "serious" issue? Either way, you open the thread and see the truth. And either way it's no big deal.

Because if you own NJ or Griffey, you are just waiting for the injury report...you expect it. I mean NJ jumped all of 2 inches for a high throw and has been out a week with back problems. No one is depending on these guys. A joke on Crawford getting hurt is not funny in the slightest.

Are you kidding? I mean seriously. So if it's a joke on an injury prone player, it's ok...but Crawford isn't injury prone so jokes about him aren't funny? Oh man you guys kill me.

For what it's worth, I thought it was funny. Some folks need to lighten up a little and enjoy. If the text of the post, beyond the title, had rambled on and continued to mislead, that would be a different story. But the author's intentions were obvious as soon as the thread loaded.

First off, I never said it would be funny either way. It's not the worst thread but it's unnecessary. Regardless of the situation whether it be Carl Crawford or anyone else it's not really that funny. Maybe it's just me though.
