in roto, big K, low-ratio MRs are gold b/c of the constant cumulative effect. they good for a whole seson as opposed to random plug-ins in h2h wheree you'd rather have someone who will get a save or a W. looks like he's still got a ways to go to regain that luster though.

to answer your question NO they never have, although most of the guys used were successful for very small periods of time. im pretty sure all of the guys used have come through within the organization (exclusing olsen, expansion yr) so maybe the organization just doesnt really value closers that high, so they wont go out and spend on one. julio arrived via trade so maybe this is the start of them changing their opinion about closers.
