oh wow .. maybe he did

This a good read ..
Nothing about Barry yet, but an interesting read.
one must remember though, this is written by the reporters lawyers in an attempt to stop them from having to testify

i stand corrected ..
the FBI searched his house and found nothing.

Conte was not the source of the leaks.
He had a big mouth, but he didn't provided the actual testimony.

they got it illegally.
I hope they do time ;-D

They'll still probably have to testify, unless they kind find more evidence agaisnt Conte or somebody else. For the moment anyway...Conte doesn't appear to be their source.

So actually, this really doesn't change that much, as they really have gotten no further in figuring out who gave these two the GJ testimony.

They may have to eventually if they don't tell who gave them it.

My god ..

Barry Bonds name appears in this doument like 3 or 4 times only, and it is absoultly nothing new ..

this document is garbage.
I am not a lawyer, but the best I can tell this is only an attempt to stop the reporters from testifying ...

whooptee doo ..

Pretty much, but it doesn't explain at all where they got their direct quotes from. And that's what they are in trouble for... :-D

Just went through some more of it, it really looks like the government has this all wrapped up. Fainaru-Wada and Williams are probably going to have to testify sometime under that subpoena, and if they refuse to and don't give their source, they could be risking jail time.

I think that is sweet.
I hope their legal defense costs them more than they made off the book.

I sent a copy of this to a couple of lawyer friends, and I am told this is basically a motion filing by the government trying to force the reporters into court ..

what do they have to hide? ;-7

No where in here does it say that everything in the book is 99% true ..

classic sheep reaction though ;-D
