I'm probably going with Freel ... just because he's much more consistant stealing bases historically, whereas this is Lopez's breakout year as far as steals go. Though Lopez has been great in steals this season. And I think it's safe to say I'd rather have Lopez in my lineup than Freel.
could end up about even, but all things aside, i'd rather have Lopez even if he does get a few less bags, he'll contibute way more in any other category than Freel would
Lopez is much more valuable as a fantasy player because he contributes in more areas than Freel. He also plays full time. Since your question was just total SB's for the rest of the year, it should be about equal. Unless Freel starts playing full time or gets traded and plays full time
Kind of a strange question. Lopez probably will but if you're trying to acquire him, he'd be extremely expensive. Freel can be had for dirt cheap and he's a very good player if you play matchups and hot streaks.

Its because i need the most SB's i can get.
Yes, but at what price? If you're moving Lopez straight up for Freel, that's insanity. Sure, you need as many SBs as you can get, but the hit you take in the other categories does not warrant the move, in this humble GM's opinion.
