This is news to me. I didnt think Coffey was doing a bad job at closing. This came out of nowhere I think.

Go with Coffey and forget about Mercker and the rest of the AA pitchers in the Reds bullpen. Even if the others get closing opportunities you don't want the stats they will be putting up. The whole Reds bullpen makes me consistently ill

At least your bullpen guys are AA quality. Most of ours are Rookie league.
