Wait a minute..... I think I know what Miggy you are talking about. He won't be back next year.

Ok the A's arent resigning Tejada b/c the future is Chavez and the Big 4. (well just like Harden there is a 5th, have u heard of Joe Blanton. Ya in a couple years u will more then likely be saying
THE BIG 5!!!!!! thats prtty scary.
As far as contracts go The A's will not resign Teajda or Dye (if u didnt know Dye is the HIGHEST paid player on the team salary, thats pretty scary).
Without Tejada or Dye the A's will be able to resign Chavez, Hudson, Mulder, Zito.
Chavez signed through 2004 season
Hudson signed through 2005
Zito signed though 2005
Mulder signed through 2005
Needless to say Billy Beanne wil be BRAKING out the check book after the 2005 season. And if the A's can win the World Series and increase there income which has been going up every year. I see no reason why they wont all be resigned b/c this is why they arent resigning TEJADA, SO THEY CAN resign the big 3.
The A's are going to have to sign a couple of bats. Quick.

Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
he might not be an a next year, but i will still be a miguel tejada fan for life, mainly because he is one of the hardest players in the majors, plus it doenst hurt to pray the yanks somehow sign him, reuniting my 2 keeper picks, jason giambi and miggy.
Using win shares, Loaiza has a slight lead in cy. Loaiza has 18 win shares, Hudson 17, Mulder 16. So its still a 3 way race. Fwiw, Boone and Delgado lead the al with 23 win shares.

Yup, that's what the plan is. Throw in Harden and they should be competitive for a long while.
As much as I like my Tigers, I'm lovin' living by the Bay! Watching Beane put this team together over the last five or so years has been good times. As for the quiet bats, I'll take a pitching gem over a slugfest any day. Go A's! (And heck, while we're at it, let's go Tigers! All I'm asking for is that you hit the 43 win mark )
Wow, all in the same year. I can't imagine them finding the money to sign all of them. The Yanks/Sox/Mets/others will offer more money and most likely at least on of them goes for the money or team in the Yanks/Sox case (the Mets- why woud they pick the Mets other than for the money? lol).
