if rich harden materializes into the phenom he has been touted as (and all indications point to it happening so far) it is truly staggering to think about the A's rotation. think about all of the staffs that struggle in between their #1 SP's starts.....the A's will have a #1-caliber starter taking the mound 80% of the season! not to mention the big 3 have made a habit out of pitching deep into ballgames, easing the workload and pressure on the bullpen. scary.
If Oakland could just get some consistant bats, they would most likely be unstoppable next year.
