Ok guys I was at this game tonite, the game I will never forget. If u were there u would have felt the energy and the excitement of the greatest pitching performance I have ever seen and in my oppinion the best start by and pitcher this year, why?? ok I realise there have been 2 no hitters and many CG shutouts this year.
However where any of those against the Red Sox lineup and opposite Pedro Martinez. Huddy owned the Sox, he flat out blanked them. If u saw the game on TV or were there u would know. Huddy needed just 89 pitches to brat the Sox.
89 PITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!
And his CG 2 Hitter was special cuz not only where those to base hits infield singles, one by manny was where he just barley beat the throw and the other Chavez sorda commited an error and he missed the ball trying to bare hand. Now Inless im mistaking only one time was a ball thrown by Hudson hit to the put field, meaning that of the 28 batters Hudson faced, 7 were struck out, 1 was walked, 1 was a pop fly, and the other 19 were infield outs.
YES Tim Hudson is THE BEST PITCHER IN THE AL< and im not afraid to stay up all night and defend that case cuz its true. He is now 11-4 with an 2.51 era and a 1.01 whip and opponets batting just 211 against him. Hudson has 5 games blown by Foulke, if he had just 3 of those he would hands down be the Cy Young Winner.
2nd in AL in Inings pitched
3rd in ERA 2.51
5th in win percentage
1st in op. BA .211
9th in K's at 123
1st in whip 1.01
ok I realise there have been 2 no hitters and many CG shutouts this year.
two no-hitters???
and hes not the cy young leader because esteban loaiza has pitched better and his win totals are fairly low....but I will say hes the second best pitcher in the AL right now .
Hudson has stepped it up a notch this year. Now if only Foulke hadn't blown leads for him.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Loaza fine ok fine. He has been unhittable all year. But Hudson has been right there with him and with those 5 blown Foulke saves
he would be 16-4, 2.51 era, 1.01 whip, AL BEST opp bat avg. 211
Now in my oppinion right now if I had a Cy Young vote
it would be
1. Hudson
2. Loaza
3. Halladay
WHY Hudson over Loaiza, well YES im Biast so there. Looking at Loaaza splits my only argument is that steadily Loaza ERA getts worse month by month, while Hudson gets Better.
So soon the 2 ERA's will meet.
A few moths ago
Loaiza era was 1.80
Hudson was 3.30
Now
Lozaza 2.30
Hudson 2.51
I dont know this is dumb to argue the 2 cuz they are simply thr top 2 in the AL
BUT I THINK LOZAZA may fall apart soon since he not used to pitching so many inings and then the Cy Young will be Huddy's
