David Bush a few Hr's away from being pretty darn good

The guy has pretty good ratio's

But his ERA and HR's allowed is not that nice.

78 k's to 25 walks. Whip of 1.16 BAA .239

Not bad at all.. Without the 13 hr's he'd be looking at some really nice numbers.

Anyone have any ideas about this kid.

I mean that Whip tells ya that when he makes a mistake he makes a big one unfortunately.

Very true. I actually had him for a while and i liked the k's, it just seems to many times he goes 6 innings 5 or 4 runs. I dont like the Era

I still have faith in him. He's a bit inconsistent, but he's always been able to keep his WHIP low and K rate high. You are definitely right about the homeruns though. He's really gotta stop giving those up. However, I do think it's only a matter of time until we get a really good quality fantasy starter out of him. ;-D

And if you added those HR's to Mark Teixeira, he'd be pretty good too. ;-D

Bush has been slightly unlucky with his park adjusted hr/f ratio. He should have 11hr's given up instead of 13.

97.1ip/78k/25bb/11hr project to a 3.64era and a 1.249whip. He's too much a fly ball pitcher to get the hr's down too much but that era/whip is pretty solid.

I've been pleased with him so far. I expect him to put up a better ERA in the second half.
