Jared Weaver up again?

Postby pootermac » Thu Jun 22, 2006 10:24 am

Those crazy Angels management....This was reported on CBS sportsline website this morning June 22

Jered Weaver, SP ANA

News: L.A. Angels manager Mike Scioscia has given the impression that Jered Weaver, who was sent to Triple-A Salt Lake, could be back with the Angels in the near future.

Analysis: Weaver had a 4-0 record when he was optioned back to the minors, not to mention a 1.37 ERA. Once he's promoted, Weaver should make some more noise for Fantasy Baseballers.

Maybe I should have used a question mark, not an exlamation mark. Anyways I take a little more from it when it comes from the Manager.....

He has to stay in the minors for a minimum of 10 days except in the case of an injury that requires someone on the 25 man roster to be placed on the DL.

its really hard to stash a rookie who isnt even playing when you dont get keepers.

If you have room keep Jered Weaver in your lineup in case he gets a callup.
