Anyone have any idea as top what's going on with Duchsherer? I can't seem to find any info as to how his rehab is going. Is he out for a while longer, is he starting a rehab assignment? Any help would be much appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Justin Duchscherer (elbow) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment Monday at Triple-A. Barring a setback Duchscherer could be back with the A's by the end of the week.

He worked an inning at Sacramento on Monday (about a dozen pitches if I recall), and was supposed to work again tonight before being activated on Friday. He will apparently be limited to one inning stints initially.

Thanks guys, couldn't find anything myself, now it's time to drop that piece of junk Balsa Wood and re-aquire Duchsherer.

Duchscherer allowed an infield single and struck out one batter. He is expected to come off the disabled list Friday.

Sounds good

Sounds VERY good, especially since my league rewards holds. And his K/9 ratio will be a welcome return addition to my team! B-)

Thanks again everyone, I'm going to pull him off the DL tomorrow and put that hack Kerry Wood back on it!

He pitched a 1 inning gem yesterday at San Francisco, not 100 percent sure but I think he struck out the side, I got him on my roster, When healthy he has a low era and whip.
I also added Kiko Calero, He has been on fire, except today he allowed 2 hits in 1.1 innings. It's not bad but not like how he has been playing all month

We are still unsure who is going to be holding down the setup role though. Calero has been lights out of late and has that role for now. It might take a couple more weeks for Duch to get the role back for those consistant holds you're looking for.
