Irony here is that Al Gore's Global Warming Movie should be on Comedy Central.
Out of curiousity, have you seen "An Inconvenient Truth?" Because his science and presentation are both top-notch.
Or were you just trying to take a cheap shot?
Or are you one of the average Americans who thinks they're smarter than a global consensus of scientists?
You know I'm not going to see that movie. I wouldn't waste my hard earned cash on anything Al Gore.
What the joke is here is Gore the environmentalist. He wasn't too concerned when he made millions off his Occidental holdings. (Anti-Halliburton fans do a Google search for Gore and Occidental and you will think Halliburton is drop in the bucket.) Gore is a hipocrit on this issue. That shouldn't be a suprise when speaking about almost any Dim. They change what they believe in like I change my underwear.
The joke is taking something almost totally out of human control and making it a political issue. (Not to mention a money making scheme via a movie).
Not all scientists argree that the global warming theory is correct. (It is still just a theory)
Not all scientist agree on what causes global warming.
Mars, Jupiter and Neptunes largest moon, Triton, are also experiencing higher temperatures and polar ice cap melting. Are Humans ruining the whole Milky Way?
The Earth has a history of drastic temperature changes and shifts.
I don't claim to be smarter than scientists that study this. But I do see evidence infront of me that tells me global warming is an overhyped issue that humans have little control over.
Best quote on this issue.
One of my liberal customers comes in not too long ago and says to me, "This global warming is getting out of hand". He knows full well what side I lean towards.
I say to him, "If it bugs you that much then trade in your 8 cylinder Jag for a Prius".
His reply, "Get lost, I'm not giving up my Jag".
I tell him not to be a Green-Nazi if he is not prepared to where the uniform.
