What is wrong with him right now? Mechanics? I really thought he turned the corner post-ASB '05...

I was at the game and there were some defensive lapses (Broussard and Belliard throwing to the wrong base or not throwing at all with the bases loaded?), but he just plain sucked tonight. Nothing he threw was fooling the Cubs hitters and they were making decent or solid contact consistently. If this was a completely isolated incident I could write it off, but after his other recent implosion I'm a bit worried about CC. Will he never really harness his stuff? :-t

What they said .... and he's also a very streaky pitcher. He wasn't the 1.00ERA pitcher we say in May -- nor is he the monster we've seen this month

Hey man I'm in first and have Freddie Sanchez and Figgy to play 3rd. I got CC of waivers after someone dropped him earlier in year and he can be replaced through free agents. I am banking on Ensberg's injury to be one of those nagging injuries. Sanchez doesn't have the pop but ya gotta love that fat average. I just picked up Crede with his 13 taters and plus 300 average.

Next year you should try a competitive league. I think it's so much more fun to win when you're actually challenged. :-b
