It's a small sample, but he might be getting comfortable in his position in Seattle. Almost Beltran like (not stats, but being more comfortable the following year).
One more thing: He is a Mariner --- what if he were a Yankee...think he would get better pitches?

Just picked him up. Can't deny his numbers the past month.

Yea seriously he sucked his whole career and has one steroid induced 48 home run contract year. He's worthless

I picked him up last night too. He's now hit safely in 18 of the past 20 games, after a single vs Billingsley.
But just now he popped out with runners on 1st and 2nd. I don't know where to find the stat, but in the USA Today yesterday(6/20) it stated he's only hitting .157 with RISP and only .118 with RISP and 2 outs ...
He's just pressing too much to drive in runs I guess.
