Dropped him for Reyes (he's starting tomorrow) and hopefully he won't mess up like Mulder and Marquis did the past two games vs CWS.

I was at the game...as a cards fan, it was embarassing, but the one bright was edmonds til he got hurt, glad it is just a concussion, hopefully a day or two....the play he hurt it on was almost the greatest catch ever (no disrespect to willie mays)...I've never seen an ump have to run to the warning track to figure out if a catch was made or if it was a HR (edmonds also hit a jack before the injury).

It was officially called a "slight" concussion which means he was fine. If you've seen Edmonds in the past you know he loves to fall and dive when he doesn't need to like a 7 year old. He did make a great effort and he's an incredible centerfielder, but the "injury" was just Edmonds calling attention to himself. He's done this before. For example, you might see Edmonds get picked off at first and then, after the play, grab his hammy like the only way he could get picked off is if he pulled something.
He may be the best defensive centerfielder I've ever seen but he's also one of the worst actors I've ever seen. I call him the boy who cries wolf. Some day he'll be lying dead on the field and noone will believe he's hurt.
