A lot of young guns for SPs with potential...if not keeper, sometimes people will overvalue the potential this year for a steady performer (like Lowe, for example)...so I'd look to move that
Overall, solid lineup...your fate will rest on Nomar's health, Helton's resurgence, Lee's ability to keep it up, and Peavy's return to prominance.
You might think about a sell high on Crede, if you need to make any moves. He's hot right now, but he's been around enough to not think this year is going to be normal even for the rest of this season.
Well, you obviously win in that deal. You will be better. If you are in 9th, then there must be at least 10 teams in your league but without knowing how many teams, it's tough to gauge your overall ranking. I'd say that you will be right around a 4-7 spot. Good luck.
you should move up. but the biggest problem is the pitching. if peavy can come back, and the young guns produce, you'll be in great shape. i agree with moving crede for, especially for someone like Lackey, whose underperforming right now.
Not bad.. I think your lacking Power hitters in that lineup, especially within the HR category. Maybe if you could combine Verlander and Crede in a package and get someone like Vernon wells. Also u dont need javy lopez, find someone who can hit better
yea this team looks pretty good and should move up the standings a bit. your offense will be fine, but if your struggling with pitching categories go ahead and make the move now for an ace. that's what will really get you going. moving crede is a good idea.lackey would be a good target
Are you keeping Jered Weaver around for a particular reason? I assume you are hoping he gets a shot to come back up, and I think he will, but its tough to have a guy like that just sitting around. Anyway, the trade was a good one for you and will really help out. You need your young pitchers to hold it together in the 2nd half. If they do that, then I think your team will be pretty solid.
